STEVEN ELDER

Steven Elder was born in Rotherham, south Yorkshire, England, and went to school in Barnsley, Sheffield, and Worksop - before heading to London to study English Literature at the University Of London. He attended drama school at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art (London).
He has played a leading roles in several feature films, including HOUNDS OF WAR (2022), MISS WILLOUGHBY (2020), with Kelsey Grammer; SEIZED (2019), with Mario van Peebles; THE KING (2018), with Timothy Chalamet, Joel Edgerton and Robert Pattinson; plus UNITED PASSIONS with Gerard Depardieu, Tim Roth, and Sam Neil; GALLOWWALKERS alongside Wesley Snipes, GOOD alongside Viggo Mortenson, and BLACKBEARD with Jessica Chastain and Richard Chamberlain.
He has performed leading roles in television, both in the US and UK: for the BBC, ITV, Sky Atlantic; Canal Plus, Disney, Amazon, Sony, and for CBS. Steven also co-wrote the feature film, SKIN TRADE, starring Dolph Lundgren, Ron Perlman, and Peter Weller; and his currently developing the feature TWO FEET, co-written with director/producer, Mark Roper; and LAND OF MORNING CALM, set in South Yorkshire and Korea during the Korean War.
His theatre work includes performing with THE ROYAL SHAKESPEARE COMPANY, Shakespeare’s GLOBE THEATRE in London, and in London’s WEST END.
